About Ashley
Ashley Romo serves as Art Manager at SnugZ USA in the manufacturing of promotional products industry. She joined the company in 2013 and has spent 11 years advancing from roles in digital print through various leadership positions to her current management responsibilities. Ashley holds an educational background in graphic design and completed an internship with Choice Humanitarian during her studies. She values caring passionately about her work and colleagues, maintaining pride and authenticity throughout processes. Her company actively supports philanthropic efforts including annual donations to wounded warriors and participation in a 5K event. Ashley attributes her success to not shying away from challenges, recognizing that it is acceptable to fail as a means of learning, and persisting through continued effort. She advises being open to change, having the courage to speak up and contribute ideas, avoiding overly narrow focus, and collaborating to identify and solve problems for ongoing process improvement. She notes that AI presents both challenges and opportunities in her field, as it can accelerate certain tasks while sometimes producing artwork that does not scale well for production.

Be open to change and have the courage to speak up and contribute. Don't narrow down on one small focus. Find a problem and brainstorm together. Keep improving processes.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is both a challenge and opportunity. Customers send artwork that looks good on phone but not when blown up, but it speeds up processes.
