About Ashley

I am passionate about helping people find clarity, direction, and support during some of life’s most difficult seasons. As the Founder of Soul Compass Consulting LLC, a Trauma-Informed Coach, and author of the Finding Our Way curriculum and Coach’s Manual, I combine professional training with lived experience to create a compassionate and judgment-free environment for growth and healing. My work is centered on meeting people where they are, helping them recognize their strengths, and empowering them to move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, perseverance, and my ability to turn difficult life experiences into purpose. I have learned that challenges can either stop us or teach us, and I have chosen to keep learning, growing, and using what I have experienced to help others. My children have also been one of my greatest motivations to continue building a meaningful life and career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to stay true to who I am and never allow fear of failure to keep me from trying. Success does not always follow a straight path, and sometimes the experiences that seem like setbacks are the very things that lead us toward our purpose.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to trust their voice, continue educating themselves, and never underestimate the value of their own life experiences. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Lead with compassion, maintain strong boundaries, stay willing to learn, and remember that helping others does not require losing yourself in the process.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is that many people need support but may not know where to turn or may feel uncomfortable asking for help. At the same time, I see a tremendous opportunity to make trauma-informed support more accessible, personal, and compassionate. I believe there is a growing need for spaces where people can feel heard and supported while gaining practical tools to move forward.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, compassion, empathy, authenticity, and respect are at the heart of both my work and personal life. I believe everyone deserves to be heard without judgment and treated with dignity. I also value resilience, accountability, and continuing to grow, because I believe we can use what we have been through not only to change our own lives, but to create something meaningful from it.
