Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My success is largely attributed to the positive mentors and influential individuals I've accounted over the course of my career. Growing up playing team sports, I learned early that my success depends on the success of all others around me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Early on in my career, I worked for a company that excluded me from a training after I had submitted my notice of resignation. One of my supervisors expressed to me that everyone on a team is on the team until they're not, regardless of their plan to take another step in their career. This taught me to give and expect respect and resources in the workplace, without fail.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Your pay matters, ask for and hold firm on what you're worth. Your experience, tenacity, and expertise matter and have value. Negotiation can be intimidating at first, but the resentment of being underpaid is far worse.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are creating supportive, empowering spaces for others, embracing adventure and personal growth, and maintaining balance through health, nature, and meaningful connections.
