What do you attribute your success to?
My story in medical device marketing started almost by accident. I submitted what I thought was a random application to Allergan—now Elteq, known for CoolSculpting—and somehow that spontaneous moment became the spark that launched my entire career. What I discovered once I stepped into the industry was a niche, tight-knit world where relationships matter, networking opens doors, and every role builds on the one before it. I didn’t plan for this industry, but it quickly became home.
Today, I’m the marketing manager for the ophthalmology division at ZEISS, where I shape strategic campaigns and develop product advertising that supports our brand worldwide. Even though I’m still relatively new to ZEISS, I’m proud of the work I’ve already contributed and excited about what’s ahead. What surprises people most is that my academic background isn’t in marketing at all—it’s in communications and business. But I’ve always loved storytelling, and over the years I learned how naturally storytelling integrates with marketing strategy.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A huge part of my growth came from mentorship. My former VP at Celtic Gallergan, Claudia Reyes, shaped so much of who I am professionally. She trusted me with projects, pushed me to stretch my capabilities, and connected me with leaders—like a manager at Earl Lens—who opened new pathways for me. Mentorship gave me not only skills but credibility, and that credibility helped define the trajectory of my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The strongest careers are built by showing up for yourself—by speaking up, asking questions, volunteering boldly, and choosing growth even when no one’s watching. Keep fighting for what you believe in do everything with passion and always remained focused
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
