What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being self-taught and self-made, including independently funding and completing my own acting and creative training. I have also been fortunate to have strong support from my family, which has helped me stay grounded and focused. Early in my journey, I took initiative by launching a successful pilot as a teenager, which reinforced my drive and confidence. In addition, my ability to multitask across various production roles has allowed me to grow my skill set and adapt effectively within the industry.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is that success does not require a traditional path. There are many ways to build a meaningful and sustainable career, even if it doesn’t follow a conventional route. Take advantage of every learning and networking opportunity available to you, whether formal or informal. Most importantly, be proactive about identifying and filling any gaps in your training so you can continue to grow with confidence and intention.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is creating safe, uplifting content for children in a media landscape heavily influenced by negative social media and constant news exposure. At the same time, there is a strong opportunity in the growth of immersive advertising and interactive experiences, particularly on platforms like Roblox, where audiences can engage directly with content in more meaningful, creative, and participatory ways.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values in my work and personal life are compassion, creativity, and creating positive impact. Professionally, I take pride in making uplifting content that brings joy to children and provides a safe space in a media environment that can often feel overwhelming. My family, especially my nephews, strongly influence my purpose and remind me why this work matters. In my personal life, I value healing and connection through animal care and therapy, as well as staying close to the arts through music, dance, and theater, which continue to inspire me.
