Her Interview
Ten minutes with Atiana
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistency. Even on days when I have not wanted to get up or do anything, I still work on my certification, go to school, and do full-time jobs. Being consistent and taking steps each day toward my goals has been key.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be discouraged even though technology is male-dominated. Believe in yourself and say things that empower you, like affirmations: I am enough, I have enough, I do enough. Always empower yourself and be your foundation for self-validation.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges include maintaining work-life balance and setting boundaries, as it's hard to stop when wanting to solve everything that day. Opportunities are abundant with AI for creating more efficient workflows, such as summarizing client threads at a help desk to handle more people quicker.
