About Audrey
Faculty member and classical performance practice specialist with over two decades of experience teaching chamber music, fortepiano, collaborative piano and multiple graduate and undergraduate courses. . Based in New York, she teaches at The Juilliard School and Mannes School of Music, and also serves on faculty at Manhattan School of Music and remotely at the Tianjin Juilliard School, Juilliard's international branch campus in China. Her teaching spans solo and collaborative piano, chamber music, fortepiano, and courses in rhetoric, pedagogy, ornamentation, and historical performance practice. She has held academic leadership roles including Interim Director of Chamber Music at Juilliard, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs at The Tianjin Juilliard School, and Assistant Dean at Mannes. She is the co-Director of Academy of Fortepiano Performance, a workshop in historical keyboard performance hosted by Catskill Mountain Foundation.

01What do you attribute your success to?
A deep passion for musical performance and teaching; wide-ranging skillset; deep intellectual curiosity about music.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be prepared to have to prove yourself for your entire career and say 'yes' to professional opportunities that are within your skillset and may be outside your expectations.

Passion, curiosity, integrity, kindness, patience, and willingness to work extremely hard
