Her Interview
Ten minutes with Audrey
01What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work and aspiration. My parents worked really hard to provide for my siblings and I, and we barely saw them because they worked around the clock, and they instilled a strong and admirable work ethic in the three of us, in mine and my siblings, and that is where that's how it all started.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just go for it, and ask for forgiveness later. I have followed that advice. You can't break a ceiling if you follow her so. By all means.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
See you. And it's okay to be you. It's okay not to conform, and it's okay to have your own thoughts and opinions. But if you have your thoughts and opinions, say it. Don't let anyone else do it for you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, in my field, it is the changing of tools. In customer experience. Because AI is so prominent, and ironically, I work for an AI company at the moment. There is this desire to get rid of customer experience folks for Agentic AI technology instead. Everybody wants to cut costs and have AI take the place of human interaction, human experience. But at the end of the day, you really need both in order to be successful. And I think the challenge today is finding that happy medium.
