Austin Jackson

I work at the University of Rochester as the Clinical Trials Manager for the Department of Urology, where I've been in the field for 7 years. I primarily handle the contracting and budgeting with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and I manage a team who oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinical trials office, which includes contacting patients, making sure patients have their visits coordinated, and administering chemotherapies to patients. I also manage off-site clinics where we do treatments. Being in urology, we do everything from cancer studies to more benign diseases like kidney stones, BPH, and infertility. I'm currently the president of the Western New York Association of Clinical Research Professionals and have been on the board for a little over 3 years. I'm also currently getting my Master's in Business Administration at the University of Rochester Simon Business School, where I serve as a student advocate for onboarding new students. Additionally, I'm on multiple steering committees and a couple startup committees for clinical research at the university, including a feasibility committee.
