What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my commitment to continuous learning and my positive attitude. While many technology leaders I work with stop learning, stop getting certifications, and find their work a grind, I take the opposite approach. I'm constantly perfecting my craft and growing emotionally, work-wise, and mentally, because I believe knowledge is power. I network on LinkedIn not just for business connections, but to learn from the IT professionals I work with - I've learned everything from how to delete unwanted content from the internet to key aspects of AI. I don't let negativity slow me down. Even when my husband tried to bring me down after the initial call, I just left the house because I don't need that negativity. I'm on top of the world because I'm doing so well in my work, and I feel very confident in my work routines and processes. It's panning out quickly and I'm seeing results. I keep moving forward no matter what.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me are continuous growth and maintaining a positive attitude. I believe that you can always grow emotionally, work-wise, and mentally, and that knowledge is power. I'm committed to learning and perfecting my craft, and I don't let negativity slow me down. When people try to bring me down, I keep moving forward because I'm focused on my success and the results I'm seeing. I value staying positive and inspired, even when others around me might be negative. I also value helping others and being grateful - I was excited to give a good review to someone who helped me, saying I had nothing better to do than help someone who made my day.
