She specializes in guiding customers through large remodeling projects, assisting with product purchasing and takeoffs, interpreting client ideas, and coordinating projects from beginning to completion. As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Autumn has strengthened her career by continually expanding her knowledge and skills through blueprint courses, leadership development, and sales training.
Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Autumn takes pride in mentoring others and contributing to the communities her company serves. She has helped organize outreach initiatives such as Trunk or Treat events serving hundreds of children, the Logs to Lumber program that introduces students to the building trades, and job fairs that encourage people to explore careers in the industry. In 2025, she was honored with the Legacy Award after being nominated by her coworkers for demonstrating the company's values. Through her leadership, industry knowledge, and commitment to customers and colleagues, Autumn continues to make a meaningful impact in the building materials field.

I attribute my success to discovering my passion for the building materials industry early in my career and consistently proving my knowledge and capabilities. As a woman in the field, I held myself to a high standard, worked hard, and embraced opportunities to grow, which ultimately led to management roles.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that you can build a successful career regardless of the circumstances you face. My own journey taught me that education is valuable, but experience, continuous learning, strong mentors, and a willingness to grow are equally important. Leadership and sales training, along with the guidance of mentors like Nicole Jasper, helped build my confidence and showed me the importance of investing in yourself and others.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in yourself and know that you can build a successful career in a male-dominated field. Stay confident, continue learning, and let your accomplishments speak for themselves. By pursuing your goals with determination, you can also inspire other women to follow their own paths.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in my field is being ready to lead, inspire, and support others as new opportunities arise. I embrace every chance to grow professionally, make a positive impact, and encourage those around me to reach their full potential.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are passion, relationships, mentorship, and service. I take pride in representing my company, supporting both staff and customers, and helping clients bring their remodeling ideas to life while building lasting relationships. Mentoring others who started where I did has been one of my most rewarding experiences, and I value creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed.
