01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Enjoy the process. It can definitely, in my experience, especially in the sports industry, it's so easy to get caught up in, you know, the next game, the next big event, what's the next job that you're gonna work, but you know, I look back, sometimes I like to look back at my past resumes that, you know, I used to apply to all these different jobs and it was such a fun process to get to where I am today, and I wish I would have just enjoyed it a little bit more, you know, and not stress so much. It'll work out, because it usually does.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would definitely say just, like, to know your worth. I've always heard the phrase, you know, if you're the only girl in the room, or even if you're the youngest person in the room, it's usually for a reason. So trust yourself, trust your work ethic, trust that you belong to be there and know that there's other women out there that are looking out for you as well. And you know there's always someone in your corner.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My most important values are honesty and authenticity. Integrity is a big one, even when no one's watching. I emphasize this in my work with elementary schools through the LSU Athletics Community Engagement Department, teaching what it means to be a Tiger including teamwork, integrity, and growth.
