About Awista
Awista Rahimi is preparing to open her own yoga and Pilates studio and healing center in the first week of September after two years of preparation involving permits, licensing, and construction. She previously served as a finance manager for Lexus Financial since 2018, managing all financial operations including contracts, financing, taxes, payroll, and relationships with over 50 banks while adhering to California guidelines. Prior to that, she worked as a dental hygienist following her certification from Heald College and gained leadership experience as an area supervisor at Domino's, where she managed seven stores and opened three new locations. Rahimi holds an Associate in Science degree from Shoba College and completed her prerequisite classes at Napa Valley College. She attributes her success to her drive to create a supportive community space, particularly for women facing hardship.

01What do you attribute your success to?
God and my drive to build a community for women like me who have survived abuse and hardship, creating a safe healing space where they can take care of themselves without financial barriers.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up, because life is gonna happen and sneak in and take a chunk out of you, and the best thing is to look them in the eye and be like okay this happened, get up and move forward.
