I am a public health research and evaluation professional with extensive experience in environmental health, program evaluation, and evidence-based public health practice. I currently serve as Chief Health Evaluation Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention within the Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice, where I lead evaluation initiatives that support national environmental health programs and inform public health policy and decision-making.
My work has focused extensively on the National Asthma Control Program, where I have contributed to research, program evaluation, and performance monitoring to improve asthma outcomes and reduce health disparities. Through these roles, I have collaborated with federal partners, state health departments, researchers, and community organizations to develop data-driven strategies that strengthen public health programs and improve population health.
Earlier in my career, I served as an Intervention Coordinator at Georgia State University, where I supported community-based health initiatives and research projects aimed at improving health outcomes through behavioral and environmental interventions.
I hold a PhD in Community Psychology from Georgia State University. My professional interests include program evaluation, environmental health, health equity, and translating research into practical public health solutions that create measurable impact in communities.
