About Ayantika

Ayantika Sen is a scientist and immunologist with more than a decade of experience who also founded Wildcat Studios about a year ago in Hayward, California. She completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in India, earned her PhD from Oklahoma State University, and finished a five-year postdoc at Stanford University. As an immunologist, she has published multiple first-author papers and presented at national and international conferences. In addition to her research, Sen creates polymer clay art, woodwork, metal bead and resin jewelry, and home decor through her studio, where she teaches workshops. She has been invited to speak at the Next Level Maker Conference and XTool summit about her entrepreneurial journey. Sen serves on the Committee for Inclusion and Representation under the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCUS), on the editorial team and advisory board of ASBMB Today, and as an instructor for the Art of Science Communication course for five years. She advises first-generation college students from underprivileged backgrounds and leads science fairs and demo days at elementary schools for underprivileged children.
