Ayesha Khalid

Ayesha Khalid is an AI and automation professional specializing in building production-ready AI systems, workflow automation, and data-driven solutions. She currently works at the University of Texas at Tyler in the information analysis department, where she has automated processes using AI, reducing manual tasks from days to minutes. Previously, she worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch automating healthcare data for physicians. She holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Tyler, which she completed in May 2026 after returning to school as a single mother. She was a member of ACM during her studies and has spoken as a keynote speaker at conferences, including one in Morocco on AI and the impacts of ChatGPT.
