Her Story
About Aymee
Aymee Mallory, PMP, is a project management professional, disaster-recovery specialist, and small business consultant based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She currently serves as a Project Manager with Emergent Method and is the founder of Aymee Mallory Consulting, where she helps organizations strengthen operations, solve complex problems, and move important initiatives forward with clarity and confidence.
Much of Aymee’s career has been dedicated to helping Louisiana communities and homeowners recover from disasters. Her experience includes CDBG-DR housing programs, FEMA-related operations, emergency response, regulatory compliance, constituent services, and community outreach. She is skilled at navigating complex cases, interpreting detailed requirements, identifying risks, and coordinating practical solutions among applicants, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
During the COVID-19 emergency, Aymee led a multidisciplinary team supporting a temporary housing initiative for people experiencing homelessness. The program helped approximately 70 percent of its participants transition from temporary hotel accommodations into permanent housing. This experience reflects the approach she brings to every project: establish clear expectations, equip people with the resources they need, address problems directly, and remain focused on meaningful outcomes.
Through Aymee Mallory Consulting, Aymee provides guidance in business planning, startup development, operational improvement, project organization, and customer service. Her background also includes experience with agricultural and ranch operations, giving her practical insight into the needs of family-owned businesses and organizations operating in demanding, resource-conscious environments.
Aymee earned her Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification in 2026 and remains deeply committed to continuing education. She serves as Vice President of Membership for the Project Management Institute Baton Rouge Chapter, where she supports professional connection, engagement, and growth within the project management community. Whether working in disaster recovery, public service, consulting, or business operations, Aymee is guided by integrity, accountability, lifelong learning, and a genuine desire to help people and organizations succeed.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Aymee
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a genuine love of learning, the ability to adapt, and the willingness to take on challenges outside my comfort zone. I continually seek new knowledge and look for ways to apply what I learn to improve processes, solve problems, and support others. My agricultural experience, including working with cattle, taught me the importance of patience, observation, confidence, and calm leadership. It reinforced that effective leadership requires understanding the situation, adjusting your approach when necessary, and providing clear direction. I also credit my success to having the courage to make difficult decisions and the emotional awareness to read the room, listen carefully, and work effectively with people from many different backgrounds.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to prioritize education, stay informed, and seek knowledge wherever they can. Do your homework, lead with confidence, and be consistent in your work. Over time, that consistency will help your voice be heard and build a strong reputation.
