I'm professionally a CA and a CPA, and I've had a dual career in both finance and fashion for many years. In finance, I've worked with all the big four firms - PwC, EY, and Grant Thornton - where I was the statutory auditor for most public-listed companies. I ran my own bank with 5 branches in Delhi and NCR back in India, where I was elected as one of the youngest independent women directors. You can only become a director in that bank if you win the election, so we used to run campaigns and everything. Alongside my finance career, I've always followed my passion for fashion, which has now turned into my full profession as well. When I relocated to New York, I launched my own business called Ayushi Jin (with a Z), where I serve as founder and luxury stylist. We curate haute coutures and style high-profile clients including the former mayor of New York, Eric Adams, several MPPs in Canada, and Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities. My main target audience is diplomats, political people, and celebrities. Sometimes, if the contract requires, we also do outfit curations for red carpets, gala nights, or award nights. After New York, I got married and moved to Canada, where I continue to build both aspects of my career.
