About Ayushi
Ayushi Jha is a college student pursuing opportunities in technology and currently serves as an automation intern at Hugo Boss, a role she began in June. With about three years of experience in the field, she started building her skills in high school through the Code2Code Summer Immersion Program and by serving as chapter lead for the nonprofit Grow Through AI for one year. In her internship, she uses Microsoft Power Apps and UiPath to automate processes that improve efficiency for managers, payroll teams, and other departments. She has also volunteered with the nonprofit Instill Educate, which provided tutoring in Africa, India, and Sri Lanka, and participates in the college club Alternative Breaks. Looking ahead, she aspires to work in Silicon Valley and as a software engineer at a health company, drawing inspiration from her father who works in tech.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think what I would tell them is to never be intimidated by the kind of... so, like, for me, in CS, I'm always dominated by men. And sometimes it can be really intimidating, but I think another fun part about it is just getting to prove yourself. And I think I would just tell them to not be intimidated by that. And also every single opportunity comes their way because you never know how it's going to turn out for you.
