Bailey Heuser, LPC, NCC, M-RAS, CSAT
Bailey Heuser, LPC, NCC, M-RAS, CSAT, is a licensed professional counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescent and adult populations. Currently working as a contractor overseas, Bailey specializes in chemical dependency, intimacy disorders, and PTSD/trauma, and is trained in EMDR, focusing primarily on individualized therapy sessions. Her clinical expertise extends to military families, homeless populations, and other vulnerable groups, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Bailey’s career journey reflects a deep dedication to human service and personal growth. Originally aspiring to become a neuropsychologist working with veterans experiencing traumatic brain injuries, she discovered her true passion in counseling while working in case management at a grant-funded program in Savannah. This experience, combined with her work with military-affiliated families, inspired her to pursue a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, where she graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Bailey emphasizes the importance of therapists engaging in their own therapeutic work, believing that effective clinicians must confront and process their personal challenges to provide the highest quality care and avoid inadvertently causing harm.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Bailey is committed to enriching the lives of the military community and supporting programs that assist veterans and their families. She also enjoys creative pursuits, including crafting and making clothing, which reflect her attention to detail and dedication to personal expression. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi, where she graduated cum laude and was an active member of Psi Chi, Bailey combines rigorous academic training, clinical expertise, and a genuine commitment to human connection. Her career is defined by integrity, empathy, and a passion for guiding others toward healing and resilience.
