My advice to young women entering the construction industry is to embrace the mindset of “reach one, teach one.” It is important to create an environment where women of all ages feel empowered and confident stepping into traditionally male-dominated fields and pursuing opportunities for growth and success. I encourage young women to explore the many career paths available within construction and understand that the industry offers a wide range of roles where they can make a meaningful impact. By introducing these opportunities early, especially to young women in high school and secondary education, we can inspire the next generation to consider careers they may not have previously imagined.
