Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to starting at the very bottom and committing to learning everything I could along the way. My passion for quality engineering, combined with integrity, hard work, and a dedication to connecting teams, suppliers, and customers, has allowed me to achieve milestones like leading a company to full ISO certification in under nine months—proof that meaningful results come from persistence and the right leadership.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to focus on helping others succeed and strengthening processes rather than pointing fingers. Constructive feedback is powerful, and your impact comes from lifting people up while maintaining high standards.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in manufacturing and quality engineering is breaking through gender barriers, as women often have to prove themselves repeatedly to earn respect and advance. At the same time, there’s a significant opportunity to inspire more women to enter leadership and technical roles, shaping a more inclusive and innovative industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are passion and integrity—qualities I bring to both my work and personal life. I also value adventure, giving back to the community, and family, finding balance and joy through motorcycle rides, charity events, and time with my new grandson.
