About Barbara
She is a product management and data science professional with experience in technical product strategy, AI, consumer finance, smart devices, lifecycle engagement, machine learning, and growth. She currently works as a Senior Product Manager, Technical at Amazon, focusing on fitness and fashion. Previously, she held product roles at Meta, supporting Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses and AI Studio, and worked at Citibanamex across product management, data science, analytics, lending, payments, pricing, and risk. She holds an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg and a BS in Actuarial Science from Universidad Anáhuac.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I guess just first, like, try to understand and talk to her about, like, her motivations. What is she passionate about? What is like, her vision, her dreams. Then, try to give my best advice based on that. But with the goal of just, like, empowering to let her know that she can do it, and just, like, give, like, some tips. Like, how was that process for me, and what could be, like, useful for her as well. But just, like, starting from, like, why she wants to do it, and why she's motivated about it, to kind of, like, ground her up there, so that she always remembers that as she, like, goes through this process.
