Barbara Myles

Barbara Myles is a film producer, writer, playwright, director, casting director, and motivational speaker based in Raeford, North Carolina. She is the CEO and owner of Empowered United Productions, LLC, where she continues to develop and produce film projects. Her passion for entertainment began at the age of six, and she has since built an extensive creative career spanning acting, writing, directing, and production. She has appeared in 12 movies and two television shows and is currently involved in additional film projects.

A U.S. Army veteran, Barbara brings discipline, leadership, and business expertise to her creative work. She earned an associate degree from Richmond Technical Institute and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University in 2020. Beyond filmmaking, her professional experience includes retail management, advertising sales, and business ownership. She has also owned and operated businesses in areas including entertainment and retail, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and versatility.

Barbara is also committed to empowering others through storytelling, public speaking, and community involvement. She has spoken at women's events on topics including domestic violence, suicide prevention, faith, purpose, perseverance, and relationships, drawing from her personal experiences to encourage others. She remains active in community and faith-based initiatives, including supporting the homeless and serving in leadership and advisory roles within women's and film organizations. Through her work, Barbara continues to inspire others to pursue their goals with faith, resilience, and determination.
