Barbie Garcia
Barbie Garcia is a certified life coach, Master of Social Work, and founder of Your Infinite Light Coaching, established in February 2024. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she is dedicated to helping individuals who feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their direction reconnect with their inner clarity, confidence, and sense of purpose. Her coaching philosophy centers on the belief that every person carries an infinite inner light that can be reignited through intentional self-reflection, healing, and aligned action.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2007) and a Master’s degree in Social Work (2013), both from Florida International University, and is a certified life coach. In addition to her coaching practice, she brings extensive experience in education and leadership roles, including her long-term work in early childhood administration and her creative career as a content creator. In 2024, she became an Amazon bestselling co-author, contributing to a collaborative book with nine other women that highlights themes of resilience, community, and personal transformation. Her work is grounded in lived experience, empathy, and a deep understanding of personal growth and mindset change.
Outside of her professional work, Barbie values time spent with family and friends and enjoys singing, dancing, reading, traveling, and relaxing by the beach. She is also involved in supporting St. Jude as a cause close to her heart. Her guiding motto, “reignite your light, reclaim your life,” reflects her commitment to helping others rediscover authenticity and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong sense of purpose and calling in my work, as I genuinely believe this is what I was meant to do. My effectiveness is also rooted in lived experience, as I have personally encountered many of the situations I now help others navigate, which enhances my approach beyond formal education and training. Above all, I bring empathy and compassion to my work, and these qualities continually drive my commitment to support, understand, and empower others.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to remain true to themselves, trust their unique gifts, and stay grounded in their purpose. It is important to remember why you chose this path, especially during challenges, as that sense of meaning will sustain your motivation and integrity. Confidence in your abilities, combined with authenticity and commitment to your “why,” will help you grow and thrive in this field.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are purpose, empathy, compassion, and authenticity. I strive to remain grounded in a strong sense of purpose in everything I do, ensuring that my work is meaningful and aligned with my calling. Empathy and compassion guide how I connect with and support others, allowing me to understand their experiences and respond with care and respect. Authenticity is equally essential to me, as I believe in showing up genuinely and leading with heart in all aspects of my work and relationships.
