Her Interview
Ten minutes with Basirat
01What do you attribute your success to?
My personal drive and effort have been key, but I also credit the communal contribution from people who have taken time to help me get to where I am. It's not just individual but input from others that has supported my progress.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Make sure you have good people around you as mentors because you cannot do it alone. Never stop believing in yourself because there is nothing you cannot achieve if you put your mind to it. It might not be an easy journey but it will be worth it if you put in the effort. Always ask for help when needed.
