Her Story

About Baylee

Baylee Reppy serves as an Account Manager with Pacific Component Xchange (PCX Inc.), a global electronic component distributor based in Palm Harbor, Florida. She entered the sales industry in 2010 and transitioned to the electronic component distribution side in 2026, where she works closely with manufacturers and procurement teams as a trusted sourcing partner. Baylee helps clients locate difficult-to-find, obsolete, and lead-time-challenged electronic components through a global network of suppliers, while providing solutions designed to strengthen supply chain resilience, reduce procurement risk, and keep production moving.

Prior to joining PCX, Baylee spent more than five years as a Marketing Consultant with PostcardMania, advising business owners and marketing professionals on customized direct mail and digital marketing campaigns. She managed more than 100 active client accounts across diverse industries and served as a key liaison between clients and production teams, helping ensure quality, timely delivery, and brand consistency. Her experience in sales, marketing, client relationship management, and strategic problem-solving has provided a strong foundation for her current work in electronic component sourcing and supply operations.

Baylee holds a BA in Art Administration and Business Management from the University of Tampa and has also pursued business administration studies through the Art Institute, a branch of Miami International University in Tampa. Beyond her professional career, she is a board-certified chef and a wine and chocolate connoisseur, with culinary training that included time in Italy. Baylee attributes her success to resilience, particularly as a woman navigating traditionally male-dominated industries. She believes in approaching challenges with confidence and kindness while building relationships through honesty, authenticity, and trust. Rather than focusing on aggressive sales tactics, she is committed to genuinely understanding her clients' needs and creating solutions that serve their best interests.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Baylee

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience. No matter what challenges I have faced, particularly as a woman working in male-dominated fields, I have chosen to view those experiences as opportunities for growth and to approach them with professionalism, kindness, and perseverance. I started out very shy and struggled to hold a conversation, but my career in sales helped me become more confident, authentic, and outgoing. I have learned that success is not about simply pushing a sale; it is about genuinely helping clients, communicating honestly, building trust, and creating relationships that are grounded in integrity.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize the strengths you already bring to the table and not allow the fact that it is predominantly male to discourage you. Women are often highly logical, organized, and detail-oriented, and we can also use our interpersonal skills and natural charm to build strong relationships and create opportunities. Most importantly, do not let traditional gender biases or setbacks define your experience. You may encounter them regardless of the industry you choose, but stay confident, remain authentic, and continue to open doors for yourself and for the women who follow you.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity in my field right now is the ability to expand my network, explore new opportunities, and learn from experiences beyond my immediate environment. I want to remain open-minded, build meaningful professional connections, and embrace new experiences that allow me to discover more about myself and where I can make the greatest impact. By staying adaptable, going with the flow, and continuously identifying opportunities to learn and grow, I can continue developing both personally and professionally.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, integrity, and authenticity. I believe in building meaningful connections and fostering strong professional and personal networks based on trust and mutual respect. I am committed to always acting in the best interests of others, treating people with genuine care, and maintaining the highest ethical standards in everything I do.
