About Beata
Beata Rouleau serves as a fractional chief revenue officer, partnering with B2B technology companies in the 1 to 10 million revenue range. Her work focuses on consulting around go-to-market strategy and systems, as well as ensuring that teams have the right people in place to execute effectively. Prior to launching her consulting practice two years ago, she worked internally as the right hand to CEOs in the startup tech space. She made the transition to build more control and flexibility across multiple organizations and to prepare for the arrival of her first child. Beata attributes her drive to her future daughter, aiming to provide an example of a woman in business that she herself did not have growing up while maintaining the flexibility to be a present mother.

01What do you attribute your success to?
For me it's really my future daughter. I never grew up having women examples of women in business or women entrepreneurs. That really drives me, having the flexibility so that I can be a present mom, and also just giving her an example of something that I never had.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find a good leader to work under and be really hungry on how much you can absorb and how much you can help. Find a leader that's willing to coach and guide you and open up those doors, and then just that figure it out mentality. With AI, anyone can figure out how to do something now, so having the confidence that you don't have to have done it before, you can just figure it out.
