Beata Rydyger is a Registered Nutritionist and Health Coach with over a decade of experience helping women restore their energy, balance their hormones, and heal their gut for long-term wellness. She is the founder of Beata’s Rx, a private practice born from her own recovery from adrenal burnout and chronic digestive issues. Beata specializes in gut health, hormone imbalances, skin conditions such as acne and eczema, fatigue, PMS, and overall metabolic resilience. Her approach translates evidence-based nutrition into practical, sustainable daily habits. Through individualized meal plans, targeted supplement protocols, and one-on-one guidance, she helps women move from feeling depleted to fully functional. Her path into nutrition was deeply personal. After earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McMaster University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from Humber College, Beata began her career in public relations at a Toronto agency. While creatively fulfilling, the fast-paced environment led to burnout and ultimately redirected her toward her true calling in health and wellness. Inspired by her own healing journey, her mother’s recovery from a brain tumor, and the holistic practices she grew up with, Beata returned to school to formally study nutrition. What began as a personal mission evolved into a thriving decade-long private practice and a respected voice in the health space. Beata has contributed as an expert source for leading publications including Healthline, Medical News Today, HuffPost, and Forbes, helping translate complex medical research into clear, practical guidance for women navigating gut and hormone health. She is also the co-host of the Fully Functional podcast, where she shares evidence-based insights alongside a naturopathic doctor. In addition to her private practice, Beata has served as a Clinical Nutrition Advisor at Zen Nutrients and as Head Nutritionist and Clinical Coordinator at a concierge medical clinic in the heart of Beverly Hills. There, she worked within a multidisciplinary, integrative team alongside a medical doctor, pharmacist, registered nurse, and naturopathic doctor, delivering comprehensive, collaborative care in a high-touch clinical setting. She was awarded the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Excellence Award and graduated with the highest GPA in her class. Today, Beata continues to build a practice rooted in science, clarity, and individualized care, empowering women to feel confident, energized, and truly well.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

First and foremost, I attribute my success to my passion for the wellness field. I'm so passionate about wellness and helping others. I think my empathy towards others is huge. When I work one-on-one with someone experiencing health issues and having stress around it, you can see it, you can feel it energetically, how stressful these health issues are for these people. I think putting yourself in their shoes is really, really important, and having a sense of understanding and listening. The ability to make them feel comfortable and safe, and have it be a safe space, is critical. I think empathy is huge in what I do. I'm also constantly taking that complex evidence-based information that I learn and trying to translate it into language that people can understand. The ability to communicate and educate effectively has been key to my success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't be afraid to be your authentic self. There's so much comparison you can do all day long to people doing the same thing as you, but just be yourself and do your own thing, whatever speaks to you. Whatever your voice is, use that. Don't try to copy other people, what they're doing, what their topics are that they're covering. Think about what speaks to you, what you think is important, what is the message that you want to send to the world, and use your authentic voice. Don't be afraid to use it, both in writing and in speech. If you're doing videos and things like Instagram or YouTube, have your own voice, and don't be afraid to use it.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this industry to slow down and really build their foundation. It’s easy to feel pressure to grow quickly or to have a strong online presence, but confidence comes from competence. Take the time to truly understand the science. Learn how to read research. Work with real clients. That’s where your voice becomes strong. I would also say, don’t lose yourself trying to fit into what the wellness space thinks you should be. There’s room for depth, intelligence, and integrity. You don’t have to chase trends to be relevant. And finally, take care of your own health along the way. Many of us enter this field because of our own struggles. Make sure you continue doing the inner work too. The most powerful practitioners are the ones who practice what they teach.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest shifts in our field right now is the speed at which science and technology are evolving. We’re seeing exponential growth in research, AI-driven health tools, wearable data, personalized testing, and digital platforms. That’s incredibly exciting! We have more information and more access than ever before. At the same time, it creates a new challenge: information overload. People are overwhelmed. One study says one thing, a viral post says another, and AI can generate convincing answers in seconds. The noise can make it harder to know what’s actually evidence-based and what’s just trending. I see my role, and the opportunity in this field, as helping people stay grounded. Technology should enhance health care, not replace critical thinking. As practitioners, we have to stay disciplined, continue learning, and translate complex science into practical, clear guidance. The future of wellness isn’t about more information. It’s about better discernment.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Movement and exercise are absolutely essential to me. I need it on a daily basis, otherwise I can't function. Whether it's just an hour walk or getting in at least 5 to 10 thousand steps, movement is one of my priorities, especially since I sit and work all day and can get laser-focused for hours without getting up. Getting out in nature is one of my passions. It sounds simple, but it's very much needed for me. It regulates my nervous system and lowers my anxiety. Community is such an important aspect of health too, so getting out and connecting with friendships and like-minded people, whether that's going to a workout with a friend or grabbing a coffee, is critical. Opening up that week for at least once a week to connect with a friend and have a person to talk to is so important, especially when you're working remote. You need that one-on-one connection with somebody else besides your dog. I'm also really interested in reading, particularly self-help and self-development. I like bettering myself, both emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, keeping my mental health strong, learning about myself, and seeing where I can improve. I've been really honing in on self-improvement these days, especially mentally. And of course, animals are great too.
