Beatrice began her career as a clinical pharmacist at City of Hope Hospital, where she spent two decades managing complex oncology cases, including bone marrow transplants, acute leukemias, and experimental phase III clinical trials, while also contributing to publications and helping establish patient-assistance programs. Transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Beatrice has held senior roles at eight different companies, including Biogen, Endo Pharmaceuticals, Lupin, and Mycovia Pharmaceuticals. She has played a pivotal role in bringing multiple therapies to market across therapeutic areas such as COPD, arthritis, stroke, multiple sclerosis, infectious diseases, and rare conditions including Dupuytren’s contracture and Peyronie’s disease. Her expertise encompasses medical affairs, peer education, and patient advocacy, and she has guided drugs from late-phase clinical trials to FDA approval, all while mentoring the next generation of Medical Science Liaisons. Beyond her professional achievements, Beatrice is deeply engaged in patient advocacy, particularly for cystic fibrosis. With a personal connection through her grandson’s CF diagnosis, she actively volunteers with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and promotes awareness of innovative therapies, including gene therapy. A dedicated mentor and leader, she has also contributed to COVID-19 vaccination efforts and multiple sclerosis programs. Outside of healthcare, Beatrice enjoys international travel and photography, winning recognition for architectural photography in London, and she cherishes family life with her daughter, son, daughter in law and, and grandson.
