Her Story
About Becky
Proposal development requires battle-level readiness and a never give up attitude. Come hell or high water, it is my mission to stay on top of numerous moving parts, I do not let up until the work is done, I demand high quality, and I do not miss deadlines! I believe preparation propels momentum!
Some people get excited when concert ticket sales are open. I get excited when a Government-issued RFP gets released. It’s go time! Time to review the documents, seek any showstoppers and discrepancies, time to create a schedule, time to hold a kickoff and circle the wagons with technical SMEs, time to discuss any necessary tweaks to our teaming strategy, win themes and customer solutions, time to start writing the response, time to simultaneously balance multiple proposals yet still focus and go to battle with this hundred-page document.
Government proposal lifecycles can take a rapid two weeks or in a cruel twist… two to three years due to amendments, endless Q&A, delays, or an unexplained whim. And then after proposal submission, there are protests that can last years. That equates to tracking status of opportunities, proposal submissions, subsequent amendments, extending validity dates in a timeframe similar to when your child enters kindergarten to their elementary school graduation. Government contracting requires staying power and real endurance not to give up. Getting that W, that win, is sweet success.
At IntePros Federal, we are committed to quality, dependable, and mission focused IT Solutions and Innovations for the Federal Government. And we know what it means to be trustworthy, fair and communicative teaming partners who deliver exceptional performance and lead with integrity. When I’m in the trenches of proposal development, these are the best battle buddies I could ask for.
