Her Story
About Becky
I have been in full-time vocational ministry for 24 years as a pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. From my pastoral work involving community relationships and partnerships, my coaching business The Worthy Vine developed organically over the last 6 years as the Lord called me to coach women specifically. My typical clients include teens, young adults, and women navigating post-adoption challenges, trauma from the past, divorce, and infertility, helping them move forward with awareness of their emotions and growth edges through virtual sessions primarily.

Ten minutes with Becky
01What do you attribute your success to?
Really, the Lord. He is the Worthy Vine and we are the branches. I would be anything without Him, and I can't do anything unless I'm connected to Him.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It feels so good to let other people have their own process. That has been very influential in how I deal with clients, teaching them to let go and hold space for others, building freedom and hope.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Give it time. You never know what will lead to something else, so just walk through the open doors that are open to you, hold it with an open hand not a white-knuckle grip, and just give it time and patience.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the stigma on therapy and going to talk to someone, feeling broken. The biggest opportunity is unleashing women to their full potential, influencing and encouraging them to step into their own lives, own their process and emotions, and realize they are enough.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, accountability, and integrity are the three that are really important for me as a coach and in my own life. I'm a natural encourager and try to encourage others to be their authentic self, be true to who you are, have integrity.
