Across all roles, she is known for her problem-solving skills, organizational strengths, and commitment to helping clients gain clarity and control over their financial systems.
Becky’s journey in accounting began in childhood, watching her father manage multiple businesses and helping him write checks to pay bills. That early exposure inspired her career path, and she pursued accounting throughout high school and college, ultimately earning her bachelor’s degree in the field. While in school, she gained hands-on experience in collections for a marketing company and later in accounts receivable for a kitchen cabinetry factory in New Jersey. After relocating to South Carolina to be closer to her father, she joined a bookkeeping firm where she gained comprehensive experience in business setup, including LLC formation, EIN registration, banking, invoicing, and full-cycle bookkeeping. This experience solidified her passion for the field. After becoming a mother, she transitioned into a more flexible career path, working for an insurance broker while launching her own bookkeeping practice in 2021. Today, she balances multiple professional roles while primarily serving nonprofit organizations in Beaufort County, helping them maintain accurate, organized financial records so they can focus on their missions.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to God, who has guided me throughout my personal and professional journey. I also credit my immigrant parents, whose courage, resilience, and determination in building a life in a new country have been my greatest source of inspiration. Watching them overcome challenges and achieve success through hard work and perseverance instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for opportunity. Their example continues to motivate me to stay disciplined, pursue excellence, and remain grounded in purpose in everything I do.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was from my father, who consistently encouraged me to open my own business. Even after I graduated, when I felt uncertain and hesitant about what to expect, he continued to push me forward and remind me of my ability to succeed. His steady encouragement helped me move past fear and self-doubt until I finally realized that I was capable of building something on my own. That advice not only gave me the confidence to take the leap into entrepreneurship but also continues to influence how I approach challenges and opportunities in my career today.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Dream big, and go after that dream. No matter if it scares you, it has to feel like it's gonna be impossible, but at the end of the day, as long as you believe in yourself, go for it. It will happen for you.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity is definitely being able to see the different industries and what it all entails as to running that type of business. We don't always know what's out there until we know what's out there. The biggest challenge might be trust, honestly. You might think you found a good bookkeeper, but they're like, oh yes, I'll take care of it, I'll take care of it. A month later, it hasn't been done yet. I feel like some people just take on the clients to get the money and don't really stay organized enough to do the work.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, for sure. Doing the right thing when nobody else is watching. That's huge when it comes to my industry, because we have access to so much information that shouldn't be shown to everybody. Making sure that none of that information gets leaked, or you're the cause of a huge error happening, that's big for me, for sure, in business and in life as well. I want to be the best version of myself in everything I do, and being honest and moving in honesty is definitely my aspiration in life.
