Her Interview
Ten minutes with Beeta
01What do you attribute your success to?
Being myself and surrounding myself with people who genuinely have my best interest at heart, and they speak of you when you're not in rooms. And they're always referring people to, I think, that community matters.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Show up every day and be consistent. And don't compare yourself to others.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Education is the most important asset. There's two folds to this business, one being the business owner, but also being a good provider. Focus on what your strengths are. If you fall into the provider category, go all in with that. If you are more business-minded, focus on hiring a productive team. Don't get lost in the sauce of social media.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There's enough for everyone. The challenge could be people feeling like there's so many people doing this, why should I start this? But there's no one like you, so if you're truly passionate in it, you should stick to it and keep at it. You really need to be passionate to be able to succeed in this.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and trust are very important to me. Leading by example.
