Her Story
About Belia
I started in customer support helping my parents with their business as a young child. In high school I worked at a bank during off periods. Then I did office management for a starting plastic surgeon office in the Westlake area, followed by office management for A&F Elevator while living in Garland near Dallas. I took a remote opportunity with All Web Leads in insurance and processed claims for Texas Service Life Insurance. Later I became a team manager for Meta (then Facebook) downtown Austin, and after going remote due to COVID and subsequent layoffs, I joined Alorica as a customer support manager in August 2024, though currently furloughed.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Belia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say just persistency, being on time, and going the extra mile, showing that I am willing to help whenever there is help needed. Also, empathy is so important, you know, I think sometimes it is underrated, but it's important to just actually really care about your people and put yourself in their shoes.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say that it's really important to just keep your head up and be persistent and not give up, because there is always fruit to your labor, so if you just keep going and you do the right thing, then there will be rewards.
