Established in 2024, her company provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, notary services, business consulting, and business startup guidance. As an Enrolled Agent, Belinda is committed to simplifying complex tax and financial processes, helping clients manage their responsibilities with confidence, and providing dependable service tailored to their needs. She has also partnered with ROK Finance to connect business clients with additional funding resources to support their growth.
Belinda's entrepreneurial journey is supported by extensive experience in customer service, retail management, and team leadership. Before establishing her tax preparation business, she held management positions at several companies, including Big Lots, Fallas Paredes, and Burger King Corporation, where she developed valuable skills in operations, employee supervision, customer relations, and business management. She also pursued bookkeeping and accounting classes to strengthen her financial knowledge and prepare for business ownership. Drawing on her diverse professional background, Belinda has expanded her services beyond tax preparation to help entrepreneurs organize their finances, establish businesses, and build a strong foundation for long-term success.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Belinda is passionate about community service, personal growth, and creating opportunities for others. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, determination, and a commitment to continuous learning. My entrepreneurial journey has taught me to embrace challenges, invest in my professional development, and remain open to new opportunities. By expanding my knowledge in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and accounting, I have been able to grow my business and better serve my clients. My greatest motivation is not only to build a successful company but also to empower others by sharing my knowledge, creating opportunities, and helping aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into sustainable businesses.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received from my former supervisor, Leah Kolts, was to never settle. Her words taught me to recognize my worth, pursue my potential, and never let uncertainty limit my ambitions. I also believe in the importance of finding trustworthy mentors who offer practical guidance and help you make informed decisions. As I continue growing my business, I hope to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs by sharing my experiences, lessons learned, and knowledge to help them build successful businesses with confidence.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to do your research, invest in your education, and seek guidance from trustworthy professionals. Entrepreneurship requires patience, preparation, and a willingness to learn. Recognize your worth by charging fairly for your services, setting professional boundaries, and communicating clearly with clients. Most importantly, remain teachable, learn from your mistakes, and stay committed to building a sustainable business rather than chasing quick success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field has been transitioning from employee to business owner while learning to manage clients, pricing, and financial responsibilities. My experiences have taught me the importance of verifying information, maintaining accurate records, and communicating clearly with clients. However, these challenges have also created opportunities for growth and improvement. I am expanding my services to include bookkeeping and business consulting, with plans to grow my team and offer educational programs to help aspiring entrepreneurs build successful businesses.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are faith, family, service, and personal growth. I believe success comes with a responsibility to give back, which is why I support community initiatives and help others whenever I can. Through my business, community outreach, and five published books, I hope to encourage people to overcome challenges and believe in their potential. My five children are my greatest motivation, and my faith keeps me grounded as I continue pursuing my goals. For me, true success is not just about what I achieve but also about the positive difference I make in the lives of others.
