Her career has been marked by successful leadership roles at industry-leading organizations like ADP, TrueBlue, Gusto, Robinhood Market, Zeni Payroll, Turing, Cribl, Ring Central and Helen of Troy, where she spearheaded critical initiatives such as automation, IPO readiness, global equity payments, and vendor negotiations. Fluent in English and Spanish, Belinda excels at leading diverse teams and cross-functional initiatives that align payroll with broader business goals. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to always being open to learning and growing, and to the trust others have placed in me along the way. Gratitude and humility are critically important to continued success.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow. Time for you to root cause and fix the process to do better next time.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be patient, learn and grow with every opportunity that presents itself. Always take feedback as a gift and learn from it. Set goals and be willing to say no.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is bandwidth—balancing the growing volume of data and responsibilities with the time and resources needed to meaningfully address them.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My greatest asset is being able to read the room and showing empathy for a struggling employee either at work or at home. I value my beautiful family my greatest jewels are those of my (6) grandchildren wrrapped around my shoulders.
