I've been in the construction industry for 26 years, and construction is definitely my go-to expertise. I'm a badass at interior finish out in the construction industry, and that's not just my words - that's actually words from other people, including clients. My typical day consists of meeting with my teams, confirming who's working where, doing some coordination, and making sure that everybody's working safe in the areas that we agree they're going to be working in. I got into construction honestly because I needed a job - the company I worked for prior to getting into construction sold out, and the new employer didn't want to keep the old staff on, so he fired all of us. I found a job answering telephones at a construction site, and from there I learned by getting my hands involved in the field and being out in the field itself. In 2024, my significant other and I established a new business for moving boxes and moving services. We really hit the ground running in 2025, and we're already expanding our service options in 2026. My day now wraps up with a couple of hours working on our moving box and moving services business.
