About Beth
Beth McGill is the Founder and Business Owner of Thrive, Flourish & Grow, which she established in 2019. A certified hypnotherapist, energy healer, spiritual mentor, and teacher, she is dedicated to helping individuals cultivate self-awareness, inner peace, and personal transformation. Through her signature one-on-one offering, The Stillness Within, Beth guides clients in exploring their inner experiences, reconnecting with their authentic selves, and pursuing healing at the soul level. Her approach incorporates hypnotherapy, energy work, meditation, and spiritual teachings to help individuals gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their purpose. Beth’s professional journey spans education, financial services, and holistic wellness. She spent 20 years as an elementary school teacher before transitioning into financial services, where she built and operated her own business for approximately 10 years before selling it. These experiences strengthened her entrepreneurial abilities and deepened her understanding of leadership, financial responsibility, and helping others make informed decisions. Following her transition into holistic wellness, she became a certified hypnotherapist and began sharing teachings on the Law of Attraction through workshops, videos, and other educational content. She is also the author of Allow Life to Happen: And Receive Everything You Desire! and has published a companion 129-day journal to encourage reflection and personal growth. Based in Morro Bay, California, Beth participates in local networking groups and continues to explore opportunities to expand her teachings through collaborations and digital platforms. She attributes her success to her work as an energy healer and her ability to access her higher self while helping clients connect with their subconscious, conscious, and superconscious minds. By setting aside her ego and allowing the work to flow through her naturally and intuitively, she seeks to create space for greater awareness, clarity, and personal growth. Authenticity, integrity, compassion, personal freedom, and continuous learning are central to her professional and personal philosophy. Outside of work, she enjoys surfing, hiking, traveling, meditation, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, who remind her of the importance of curiosity, joy, and living in the present moment. Through Thrive, Flourish & Grow, Beth remains committed to helping others move beyond limiting beliefs, trust their inner wisdom, and create lives that reflect their values and aspirations.

Ten minutes with Beth
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my work as an energy worker and my ability to help people connect with their subconscious, conscious, and superconscious minds. By accessing my higher self and setting aside my ego, I allow the work to flow through me naturally and intuitively. This approach enables me to support others in gaining deeper self-awareness, unlocking their inner potential, and finding greater clarity and balance in their lives.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received came from mentors during my early years in financial services, who helped me develop my entrepreneurial skills and navigate important professional decisions. Their guidance taught me the value of learning from others, remaining open to new perspectives, and using my experiences to grow. As my career progressed, I transitioned from being mentored to mentoring others, sharing my knowledge to help them navigate both professional and personal challenges. I also believe that meditation, intuition, and inner wisdom are essential sources of guidance, allowing me to make thoughtful decisions, trust my instincts, and remain aligned with my purpose.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to pursue something they are genuinely passionate about and committed to doing. Seek guidance from experienced business professionals, particularly when it comes to financial planning and managing the business side of your work. Do not be afraid to start small and grow at a pace that feels manageable. Building a business takes time, and setting realistic goals can help you avoid unnecessary stress and overwhelm. Most importantly, trust yourself, remain connected to your purpose, and give yourself the space to grow both personally and professionally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe one of the biggest opportunities in my field is the growing interest in holistic wellness, mindfulness, and personal transformation. More people are seeking ways to reconnect with themselves, develop greater self-awareness, and find balance in their lives. At the same time, one of the challenges is helping people understand energy healing and other spiritual wellness practices, especially when these approaches are unfamiliar to them. I see tremendous potential to reach more people through collaborations, workshops, podcasts, and digital content, as well as future publications. My goal is to continue sharing my teachings, helping others discover their inner wisdom, and supporting their journey toward greater peace, personal growth, and well-being.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, personal freedom, integrity, inner peace, continuous growth, compassion, and living with intention. I believe it is essential to slow down, remain present, and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves so we can make decisions that align with our values rather than outside expectations. Outside of work, I am passionate aboutsurfing, traveling, gardening, meditation, and personal development. I believe age should never limit our willingness to explore new experiences, embrace adventure, or pursue what brings us joy. Spending time with my grandchildren is especially meaningful to me because they remind me of the importance of living in the moment, approaching life with curiosity, and appreciating the simple things that bring happiness.
