Beth Schroeder is a seasoned executive, board member, advisor, and mentor with extensive experience leading multi-billion-dollar global companies in the automotive and industrial sectors. With a strong background in new business development, go-to-market strategy, and portfolio optimization, she has a proven record of driving transformational growth while enhancing business value. Beth’s leadership philosophy centers on top-grading teams, understanding the voice of the customer, and leveraging market segmentation to create robust, actionable strategies.
Throughout her career, Beth has held senior executive roles including General Manager of TE Connectivity’s Global Application Tooling Division, Director of Product Management, and various advisory and interim executive positions. She specializes in P&L management, strategy formulation, market positioning, value-based pricing, and leader development. Her ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams has earned her a reputation as a trusted leader and strategic thinker in complex, competitive markets.
Beyond her corporate roles, Beth serves as an independent board member and audit committee chair at Thermotech Precision Molding and as finance committee chair at Seagate of Highland, LLC. She is deeply committed to fostering leadership, mentoring emerging talent, and supporting organizations through periods of growth and transformation. Beth holds a BA in Accounting and Financial Administration from Michigan State University and an MBA in International Business from Saginaw Valley State University, equipping her with the skills to combine strategic insight with operational excellence.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to building strong connections with senior executives and customers, leveraging my expertise to drive company growth, and approaching challenges with a strategic mindset. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with CEOs, CFOs, and leadership teams to optimize businesses, enhance market positioning, and develop high-performing teams. One of my proudest achievements was turning around a large, million-dollar business with low morale and high turnover—over five years, we grew revenue by more than 50%, improved margins, established a growth footprint in China, and helped 600 employees achieve more secure and fulfilling careers. My career has been shaped by a combination of strategy, leadership development, and a focus on both business and people.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor, Karen Leggio, who was my boss at TE. She gave me the confidence to take on challenging roles and encouraged me to push myself, which motivated me throughout my career and helped me reach some of my favorite and most rewarding professional achievements.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: don’t be afraid. Trust in your skills and qualifications, don’t overthink it, and embrace the opportunities with confidence—you’ve earned your place, so enjoy the journey!
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life center on family, well-being, and connection. I’m a proud mother of three grown, successful children, and I cherish time spent outdoors—gardening on my property along Lake Michigan, playing pickleball and golf, and staying active. I also value hospitality and community, which I express as the owner of a small bed and breakfast, where I love sharing the beauty of Michigan and creating meaningful experiences for our guests. Along the way, I enjoy exploring great restaurants and celebrating life’s simple pleasures as a true foodie.
