Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a lot of endurance and perseverance, and working through the difficult times. All of that is connected with my faith in God - He is my helper, He is my guide, He is the one that gives me favor in connecting with people and being able to encourage people through the podcast. Without God's grace, I would not be here. There were two times in my life where I considered taking my life, and really, it's only by His grace that I'm still alive and can talk about it. Through many years of learning to know God and His love, and through Jesus Christ as my Savior, I have learned to believe that I have worth and value. As a result of the healing of many decades, I have come to the point where I can encourage and bless other women who are struggling with mental health issues.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to partner with God in any business things that you try to do. That means seeking God and asking Him for help. I had to show a lot of courage to jump into podcasting, and I have mentors that are showing me the step-by-step path. So really, partnering with God and having good mentors is very important in business.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In both my personal and professional life, I am guided by faith, trusting in God’s grace, and embracing forgiveness, healing, and perseverance. I value encouraging others to recognize their worth and potential. Outside of work, I find joy and balance in spending time with my family and grandchildren, and in the simple wonders of nature—hiking, observing butterflies, and enjoying flowers.
