Ten minutes with Beth

01What do you attribute your success to?

A passion for learning. If bookings are slow I go find somebody's program to certify in like Artistic Travel or special needs travel and then requests come in.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You get what you give. The more you give to your business the more you're gonna get out of it. Businesses don't run themselves. Their leader runs their business. If you want to work hard you'll be successful. Nobody's gonna just hand anything to you.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges: the economy, gas prices, and people not having expendable cash. Opportunities: vendors giving great deals on familiarizations and travel agent exclusive rates because travel is slow.
