Earlier in her career, Ehrenberg served as CEO of Operations Control Systems, growing the company into a $15 million market leader serving more than 6,000 domestic and international customers. Known for her strategic vision and commitment to community engagement, she implemented a groundbreaking corporate social responsibility initiative that encouraged employees to devote 10% of their paid time to community service—an effort that contributed to her recognition as an Outstanding Woman in Business in Silicon Valley. Across every endeavor, Betsy Ehrenberg remains committed to innovation, relationship-driven leadership, and building companies that create both financial strength and lasting community impact.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the diverse responsibilities I’ve embraced, the creativity I bring to my work, and the experience of founding and running a successful company.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to focus on the contributions they make and the impact they create, letting their work and results define their leadership rather than their gender. I encourage making meaningful contributions the core of your professional efforts and actively engaging with and giving back to your community as part of your career journey.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are community involvement, meaningful contribution, creativity, responsibility, and making a practical difference. I am committed to being recognized not for my gender, but for the tangible impact I can make through the responsibilities I’ve held and the creativity I bring to my work. Being an active part of my community enriches perspective, amplifies contributions, and allows me to provide services and guidance that truly make a difference. My focus is always on the outcomes and the positive change I can create, rather than recognition based on identity.
