About Beverly
I am a dedicated K–12 school counseling professional with over a decade of experience supporting students’ academic success, social-emotional development, and college and career readiness.
Currently, I serve as a Professional School Counselor at DC International School and Montgomery County Public Schools, where I work closely with students, families, and educators to help students build the skills and confidence needed to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Previously, I spent seven years with Prince George's County Public Schools, where I facilitated college readiness workshops, conducted transcript evaluations, supported credit recovery programs, and provided individual and group counseling to help students navigate their educational pathways.
Earlier in my career, I worked with District of Columbia Public Schools and Friendship Public Charter School, contributing to the development of comprehensive school counseling programs that addressed students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
My experience also includes community and adult education roles, including serving as a Program Facilitator at Community Counseling and Mentoring Services and an ESL Instructor at Prince George's Community College, where I worked with diverse communities to promote education, family engagement, and personal growth.
I am passionate about helping students discover their strengths, explore career pathways, and build the confidence needed to succeed both in school and beyond.
