Her Story

About Billie

Billie Beckner is a Wellness Coach whose career bridges clinical healthcare experience and holistic wellness coaching. Before stepping into coaching, she spent years working as a Registered Medical Assistant across several practices, including orthopedics, family medicine, COVID clinics, urology, and pediatrics where she built patient relationships by identifying problems, offering solutions, and following up to evaluate results. Her own recovery from a traumatic brain injury during her youth became a turning point, redirecting her professional focus toward helping others achieve lasting wellness rather than relying solely on medical intervention. In 2023, Beckner founded Prestige Fitness and Wellness, where she now serves as Founder and Creative Director, guiding clients toward sustainable, longevity-focused health through nutrition, fitness, and self-concept. She has expanded her expertise through formal certifications as a Nutrition, Health, and Wellness Coach, an NLP Coach trained in neuro-linguistic programming, and a Certified Biohacking Coach, complementing her academic background in Business Administration and Management from and her clinical training from her medical assisting program. Alongside her coaching business, she also gained additional customer-facing experience as a Customer Service Representative further strengthening her client relationship skills. Grounded in values of accountability, loyalty, growth, and self-compassion, Beckner approaches wellness as a journey of consistent progress rather than perfection. She has worked through her own imposter syndrome by focusing on measurable growth and practicing patience with results that take time to materialize. Looking ahead, she hopes to grow Prestige Fitness and Wellness into a larger practice with additional coaches and complementary offerings such as apparel and digital products, to provide the tools her clients need to be successful in their journey to wellness. She also shares her personal journey through writing and social media. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys baking, cooking, and writing poetry.

Ten minutes with Billie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the influence of my family, especially my mother and my grandfather (who is an entrepreneur) along with my personal commitment to growth in my systems.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

No job is too small. Every position I’ve held has taught me something, and I’d say “I know a little about a lot.” Try to come into a position with the mindset that your contribution is an integral part of the business, and that doing your best will help carry the team to success!

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage anyone entering this industry to always keep learning, whether through podcasts or mentors who have already achieved what you're working toward. Surrounding yourself with a strong support system makes all the difference.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I've faced is overcoming imposter syndrome and the feeling of not being good enough. I address this by focusing on the data and progress that show how far I've come, and by practicing patience with delayed satisfaction.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Accountability, loyalty, and giving myself grace are the values I hold most important. I also remind myself that each failure is only data that I can use to improve my systems.
