Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of strong support and meaningful relationships. My parents have always encouraged and motivated me, and I’ve been fortunate to have a dedicated group of colleagues and friends who have stood by me throughout my journey.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to just go for it. There’s never a perfect time, so you have to overcome the fear and take the leap—pursue what you want to do and become who you want to be.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to go after what you want to do without waiting for the “right” time. The perfect moment doesn’t exist—take the leap, trust yourself, and know that you can handle whatever comes your way.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field right now is staying competitive in a crowded market. Many small architectural firms have emerged, and while opportunities exist, it’s a highly competitive landscape. The greatest opportunity lies in connecting with the right clients—there’s plenty of work available, but building trust and demonstrating your value is key to securing it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, understanding, and collaboration. We’re all human and bound to make mistakes, and while pressure is common in our industry, I believe in approaching challenges with empathy and working together to find solutions rather than adding stress.
