About Blanca
I started in property management when a friend offered me a leasing position because I am bilingual. Although I was pursuing a medical degree initially, I switched to business management after discovering my passion for creating homes and communities. Over 14 years, I have handled leasing, rehabs, lease-ups, and stabilizing multifamily affordable properties. I now work at the executive level focusing on affordable housing where I can give back to residents through features and scholarships.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My drive is the reason for my success. When passionate about something, the drive gives me energy to research, educate myself, become an expert, and execute. It's like a battery that turns on and won't go off until I complete my goal.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Prepare and study the economy because changes are radical and affect how we can help residents. Knowing what's going to happen allows us to find resources to help people before they face issues like homelessness.
