With 34+ years at ExxonMobil, she gained extensive domestic and international experience, providing her with a global perspective on the energy industry. She held leadership roles in ExxonMobil’s Employee Resource Group, GOAL, supporting the advancement of Hispanic professionals.
Blanca is the author of several books, including Empower Yourself for an Amazing Career, Pursuing a Better Tomorrow, and her latest novel, From Gold to Glass (El Oro que Guardaba Silencio in Spanish), exploring themes of love, loss, and personal growth. She is passionate about mentoring young professionals and helping them navigate their careers while embracing change, resilience, and opportunities for growth.
Blanca holds a BBA in International Business from Pace University – Lubin School of Business and continues to inspire through public speaking, workshops, and her publications.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, continuous learning, and a willingness to navigate challenges head-on. As an author, my goal has been to share my experiences and insights from climbing the corporate ladder, inspiring and empowering others—especially young readers and professionals—to achieve their own success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industry to first know their “why”—understand the reason behind their goals and what drives their passion. Having a clear purpose provides focus, motivation, and resilience as they navigate challenges and work toward their ambitions.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is reaching the right audience. Connecting with people who can truly benefit from your work allows you to make a meaningful impact, grow your influence, and build lasting relationships.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are being a positive influence, valuing time, and prioritizing family. These principles guide the way I approach my career and relationships, ensuring that I make meaningful contributions while maintaining balance and purpose.
