Bobbi Archer

Bobbi Archer serves as Laboratory Manager with over 20 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in laboratory medicine, blood banking, and point of care testing. She began her career after earning an Associate's Degree from Ivy Tech and later obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration focused on Health Service Management from Colorado Technical University in 2015. Archer holds Medical Laboratory Scientist certification through American Medical Technologists, Board of Registry credentials via ASCP, and certifications in AI integration for healthcare systems. In her current role, she oversees operations across three buildings including primary care, immediate care, and behavioral health facilities. Her daily responsibilities include setting up her team for success through quality control, maintenance, and documentation, implementing new processes such as transitioning from LabCorp to Quest, and exploring innovative testing options like blood screening for colorectal cancer. Previously at the VA Hospital, Archer managed point of care during COVID and received recognition for her work in a mass transfusion event, earning an Eye Care Award, as well as a Director's Award for Excellent Customer Service. She is a member of the American Medical Technologists and draws inspiration from her sister, a longtime laboratorian. Outside of work, Archer has been active in animal rescue, operating a facility on 136 acres that housed up to 60 dogs.
