About Bobbi
Bobbi Pachmayr is a travel advisor and educator with over a decade of experience in travel and the school system. She owns her own travel business, Pac-Man Travel, which she launched last year as an LLC to provide more hands-on service to clients booking vacations of any size. Her approach includes creating care packages, thank-you notes, and ensuring every detail is handled so clients can relax and enjoy their trips. She also works in the school system for 6 years, supporting students from pre-K through 5th grade with their learning and providing a helping hand in the classroom. Bobbi attributes her success to her passion for making clients' dreams come true and seeing their joy upon returning from trips. She holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix after transitioning from 19 years in corporate administration at an engineering firm. Her values center on self-care, organization, and delivering personalized service.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Being able to love what I do in travel and making clients' dreams come true. I love seeing their eyes light up on first-time cruises or at Sandals, receiving pictures and glowing reviews, and providing that personal touch with care packages and thank-you notes.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
When something feels overwhelming, do self-care and take care of clients like you would yourself. Use resources like AI to reduce anxiety, ask why you're on the fence, and move forward to make clients' dreams come true.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't hesitate if you love travel. Get your feet wet, explore options, find a mentor, and take the leap. With passion, nothing will stop you and the sky is the limit.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges include competing with AI, Costco, Sam's Club where people book without advisors. Opportunity is providing personalized service, holding hands through the process, and being there if issues arise in country.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Take deep breaths and take care of yourself first so you can take care of clients and business without things falling through cracks. Being happy in what you love brings success.
